I am Harman jyot singh from India, and I have a degree in Medicine. I have been proofing and preparing medical records as medical transcriptionist for 10 years. Due to similarities between medical transcription and proofreading -- as in both require attention to detail -- I decided to add one more skill and took Caitlin Pyle's course.
I have read over 3000 pages of real transcripts including depositions, EUO's, and hearings and have successfully completed the rigorous training program,"Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice."
I follow Bad Grammar Good Punctuation, Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters, M-W dictionary, online source materials, and most importantly - CLIENT's preference.
To me each line, each word, each punctuation matters. I never skim through just to finish my work hurriedly. I am reliable, professional, and keep interest of my clients above everything else.
